Find Resorts Like Sandals But Cheaper…All-inclusive. Up until we stayed at Sandals Resorts, we heard “extensive” and cringed.
Back from almost two weeks island hopping around The Bahamas, we can state that we fully enjoyed our stays at both Sandals Resorts in The Bahamas. There were a couple of things that could be enhanced, however in general the experience wasn’t at all what we expected– in a good way. We ‘d certainly think about going complete again and our Sandals Resorts review shows you why you need to too:
With Sandals Resorts, it’s clear up-front that there are no constraints on dining, which activities are included and that you have your choice of superior alcohol. There are additional fees, which is really clear on the Sandals website, for a couple of things such as day spa services, off-resort expeditions and renting a cabana. Which’s it.
Sandals even has a stringent no tipping policy, so it’s completely unnecessary to have cash on hand.
Which is the nicest Sandals resort? Resorts Like Sandals But Cheaper
After our first visit to Sandals Emerald Bay’s Cafe de Paris where we purchased a lattes and provided our room secret to the barista just to be told it wasn’t needed, I locked my bag in the safe. We literally required our crucial cards exclusively to access our room. After days of just showing up for our supper appointment and merely leaving when we were done, I nearly forgot my purse in the safe when it was time to leave. It was nice.
At both Sandals Resorts, we stayed in Club Sandals level rooms that were embellished similarly in British Colonial style. I like the restroom at Sandals Emerald Bay more because it had a separate tub and walk-in shower, and double sinks in the vanity. I did discover the restroom lighting a bit dim at Sandals Emerald Bay, but the makeup mirror was lit so that helped.
The Club Sandals level implies extra visitor amenities such being fulfilled on arrival by a Sandals concierge, rejuvenating towels on arrival to the resort, private check-in which included a signature mixed drink or glass of Champagne in the Club Sandals lounge, a tour of the property (which is actually extremely beneficial if you’ve not been to that Sandals prior to) and a devoted concierge to aid with supper reservations and off-resort activities.
The Club Sandals lounge also offers a range of parlor game and books you can obtain and Kindles that can be used in the lounge. Free wifi is offered throughout the entire property.
Service at Sandals resorts is usually exceptional by Caribbean standards, and that holds true at this Barbados home. You can anticipate a can-do mindset and ear-to-ear smiles from all the staff you stumble upon. If you stay in among the top-end suites, you will have access to round-the-clock service from uniformed butlers trained by the Guild of Expert English Butlers; guests are provided a mobile phone pre-set with their number to summon them at any time. Mid-priced Club Level spaces come with access to a concierge lounge.
In terms of facilities, there are 3 pool– a lively one by the beach with a swim-up bar, the classy one with cabanas, and a 200m-long lagoon pool that snakes under bridges and jets of water. Other centers include non-motorised watersports, a gym and an attractive health spa. Guests at Sandals Barbados also have full access to the centers at the connected Sandals Royal Barbados residential or commercial property, including another medical spa complex, more swimming pools (one on a rooftop) and an indoor bowling alley.
Staff organize daytime activities (volleyball on the beach, water polo etc). The night home entertainment is outstanding, and may consist of bands on a piazza at the entrance to the resort, spirited singalongs in the piano bar, and a sax player roaming the premises playing sensual tunes.
