Find Sandals Resort Tobago…Extensive. Till we remained at Sandals Resorts, we heard “all-inclusive” and flinched. We couldn’t actually comprehend why anybody would wish to spend their holiday holed up in one resort for days on end. Would not you wish to go out to see things and consume the local food? However with an invitation to experience both Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau and Sandals Emerald Bay on Great Exuma, off we visited what all the buzz had to do with.
Back from almost 2 weeks island hopping around The Bahamas, we can state that we fully enjoyed our stays at both Sandals Resorts in The Bahamas. There were a couple of things that could be improved, however in general the experience wasn’t at all what we expected– in a good way. We ‘d absolutely think about going all-inclusive once again and our Sandals Resorts review reveals you why you need to too:
With Sandals Resorts, it’s clear up-front that there are no constraints on dining, which activities are consisted of which you have your choice of premium alcohol. There are extra fees, which is very clear on the Sandals site, for a few things such as day spa services, off-resort expeditions and renting a cabana. And that’s it.
Sandals even has a rigorous no tipping policy, so it’s completely unneeded to have money on hand.
Which is the nicest Sandals resort? Sandals Resort Tobago
After our very first check out to Sandals Emerald Bay’s Coffee shop de Paris where we purchased a lattes and presented our room key to the barista just to be told it wasn’t required, I locked my bag in the safe. We actually required our crucial cards exclusively to gain access to our room. After days of just showing up for our dinner booking and just leaving when we were done, I almost forgot my handbag in the safe when it was time to leave. It was nice.
At both Sandals Resorts, we remained in Club Sandals level rooms that were decorated similarly in British Colonial design. I like the bathroom at Sandals Emerald Bay more because it had a separate tub and walk-in shower, and double sinks in the vanity. I did find the restroom lighting a bit dim at Sandals Emerald Bay, but the cosmetics mirror was lit so that helped.
The Club Sandals level suggests extra visitor facilities such being met on arrival by a Sandals concierge, revitalizing towels on arrival to the resort, personal check-in that included a signature cocktail or glass of Champagne in the Club Sandals lounge, a tour of the property (which is really very useful if you have actually not been to that Sandals before) and a dedicated concierge to aid with dinner reservations and off-resort activities.
The Club Sandals lounge also provides a range of parlor game and books you can borrow and Kindles that can be used in the lounge. Free wifi is readily available throughout the entire home.
Service at Sandals resorts is generally exceptional by Caribbean standards, and that is true at this Barbados home. Mid-priced Club Level rooms come with access to a concierge lounge.
In terms of centers, there are three pool– a lively one by the beach with a swim-up bar, the stylish one with cabanas, and a 200m-long lagoon pool that snakes under bridges and jets of water. Other centers include non-motorised watersports, a fitness center and an attractive medical spa. Visitors at Sandals Barbados also have complete access to the centers at the linked Sandals Royal Barbados property, consisting of another spa complex, more pool (one on a roof) and an indoor bowling alley.
Personnel set up daytime activities (volley ball on the beach, water polo etc). The evening entertainment is excellent, and may consist of bands on a piazza at the entryway to the resort, spirited singalongs in the piano bar, and a sax player strolling the grounds playing sensuous tunes.
